Everything you need to know about Health Care Social Media Europe (#hcsmeu)…

hcsmeu was co-founded by Silja Chouquet and Andrew Spong in August 2009.

hcsmeu holds a live Twitter-driven event every Friday at 1pm CET (noon UK time).

Participants conduct three separate 20 minute debates during each event that focus on questions previously submitted to a topic archive by members of the community. Please click on the the #hcsmeu archive tab above to consult a curated PDF library of the community’s debates.

How to participate in #hcsmeu:

  1. Get a Twitter account
  2. Download Tweetdeck or another tweetstream management tool
  3. Hit the + button in Tweetdeck and create a search on #hcsmeu
  4. Review this week’s topic archive, and perhaps add a question yourself
  5. Be online at 1pm CET / noon GMT
  6. Chat! Add #hcsmeu to your own comments in order to participate, and watch the discussion build in your Tweetdeck #hcsmeu column.

hcsmeu has a wiki NEW

hcsmeucamp 1 was held on 31 March 2010 in Berlin

hcsmeu has a mission statement currently in draft form (19 October 2009). The language and a list of those intending to append their name to the finished document are openly available.
