icyou-logoI’ve clearly been under the proverbial rock since the roll-out of icyou, as I only encountered it today. If Sermo is ‘Facebook for physicians’, then I suppose we have to characterize icyou as ‘YouTube for healthcare’, although it is interesting to note that its strap-line clearly denotes that it sets its stall out as a patient-facing rather than professional-facing platform: ‘a user-generated video community that empowers you to make informed decisions about your health.’

The video I just posted is one of a clutch of interesting interviews with speakers from the Health 2.0 conference in San Francisco in October 2008.
