The mobile health entrepreneur: an endangered species?

Twenty years ago, websites were hand-coded in html.

Fifteen years ago, websites built using hosted content management systems began to appear.

Today, it is possible to build a website with full e-commerce integration, inventory management, and mobile optimisation in a weekend, with no coding skills.

Tomorrow, websites will build themselves.

Now replace ‘websites‘ with ‘mobile health apps‘, and reconsider the timeline described above.

That’s what the future of mobile health entrepreneurialism looks like.

Except we can probably divide this twenty year timeline by four.

Will the mobile health entrepreneur be an endangered species by 2020?
